How could capitalism and communism exist side by side in China today?

China today is starting to look like western nations. Whatever happened to the "ideals" of comuinism? Is capitalism and communism now two mutually exclusive ideas?

China is communist in name only. They are "fascist" with the one party being called the "Communist Party of China".

U.S. and USSR were enemies in the Cold War doesn’t mean that "Communism" and "Capitalism" are rivals.

Communism is the imagined form of society when the production of capital becomes extremely advanced. In other words, Communism is the ultimate capitalism.

There’s nothing weird about the Chinese model. It simply applies the more advanced communist measures in where possible, like in the government, but since the economy still lags behind, so it follows the older path of capitalism for development for now.
